Blue Flared Bowl 10 1/2 x 3 1/2 inch

This is a large bowl done using a Frozen Pond Technique.  It is stoneware and is wheel thrown.  It is dish washer and food safe.  It can be used as a decorative piece and as a serving dish.  This particular glaze people simply love.  The glazing of the piece takes longer than the the throwing of the piece.  It is for local pickup here at our studios.  It is very relaxing to throw and glaze pieces like this.  My students are working with glazes like this and it is great seeing their results after bisque and glaze firings.
