Gift Pieces

The pieces on this page are wheel thrown, slip cast, or hand built at Joy Ceramics. They are glazed with commercial food safe glazes. They are fired in our kilns at our studios. Actually they are fired in the kiln shed out on our west lawn. It is safer to keep the kilns out of the studio which is attached to the back of the house. I enjoy making pieces of all types and using many artistic techniques on the pieces. The glaze makes the piece shine.
